Every year, Herbaland allocates scholarships to support local students in their post-secondary education. The Herbaland Community Scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate excellent academic achievement, while showing dedication and commitment in giving back to their community. These students embody Herbaland’s core values, and we are proud to sponsor these incredible students through their post-secondary education.

The Herbaland Community Scholarship is awarded to five outstanding students in BC (Canada) school districts who demonstrate excellent performance in academics, leadership, and community involvement.

The recipient of this award shares the core value of giving back to the community with Herbaland, and dedicates their time and effort to improving the community in which they are involved through charitable organizations and leadership roles.

Scholarship Criteria:

A) Must be a student graduating from highschool in the 2022 year

B) Minimum requirement of an 86% cumulative average (grade 11-12)

C) Demonstrate involvement in the community through volunteering, through school and/or extracurricular activities

D) Environment Focused: prioritizes sustainability through involvement in green initiatives and efforts

E) Promotes diversity and inclusion in their community or at school

F) Has taken a leadership role in either community, sustainability, or inclusivity.

G) Must provide a reference letter from an organization that you’ve been involved in

H) Written personal statement of 300-500 words detailing how Herbaland’s core values of sustainability, community, and inclusivity apply to you
