Established by Mr. Fausto Yadao, a former Dean of Student Affairs at Red River College, to encourage and assist young adults from the Filipino community to access educational opportunities at Red River College. Two awards valued at $500 each are available annually to applicants from the Filipino community who are accepted into full-time diploma, certificate or degree programs. Selection will be based on an essay submission not to exceed 1000 words describing their career plans and objectives as well as their involvement in community service. The application, accompanied by the required essay should be submitted by the application deadline of August 31.
