The University of Winnipeg Alumni Association as well as other department-specific alumni groups and donors have established a number of funds over the years supporting student awards.  Thanks to the generosity of many supporters these awards have assisted hundreds of students since their creation.

Alumni Entrance Scholarships are among the most prestigious and generous in the province. Six to ten scholarships of at least $5,000 each are presented each year. Announced every year in June, the awards recognize Manitoba high school students with exceptional academic standing, outstanding extra-curricular achievements and leadership potential. Each school may nominate as many students as they deem worthy. Please contact your principal or guidance counselor if someone you know should be considered.
